OVERVIEW: The contempt with which JOE NIEN (9) treated his adversaries in the stronger of two preliminaries for this C1 final made you believe he might be a horse really going places and if that’s’ genuinely the case he should be driven with intent and a league too good for these. In fact it’s an excellent exotic event given silver medal honours should be fought out between AUGUSTUS JACK (7) who will head these off early and have options once he does and MASTERKOVA (10) who is somewhat better than her last start beaten margin might suggest. The big improver here at the next level of runners is BLISSFUL STRIDE (8) but if Trifectas and/or First fours are on your agenda also give consideration to EMILIA ON FIRE (3) and even HEAVENLY SHADES (12).
