OVERVIEW: This Inter Dominion has already produced plenty of twists and turns but one reliable constant has been TORNADO VALLEY (4) finding the front and SAVE OUR PENNYS (1) trailing him in the strongest trotters heat on every night of the series. And amazingly, incredibly, it’s overwhelmingly likely to transpire once again tonight. If that scenario does materialise and MAORI LAW (3) doesn’t cause an early speed map surprise then just as they have done on nights one and two of ID18 TORNADO VALLEY (4) will lead, dictate and salute while SAVE OUR PENNYS (1) will appear a threat on straightening before looming to the favourite’s girth and nailing silver medal honours. Regardless of what transpires early MAORI LAW (3) looks a clear third selection with cheeky blowout claims courtesy of his brilliant turn of speed while TOUGH MONARCH (9) is the other big dog who will once again be forced to forge his own path, probably three wide without a friend, through the final circuit. Merely dealing in that quartet you should have all the armoury to bed down Trifectas at least but if First Fours are more up your alley, particularly with $50K projected F4 pools for all tonight’s Inter Dominion preliminaries, then also consider RED HOT TOOTH (6) and SKY PETITE (11) for fourth place honours as well.
