The Mildura Pacing Cup has a rich history with some champion horses completing some champion drives to take out the prestigious country cup. Lance Justice and Sokyola holds a special place in the cups history, completing the three-peat together in 2003/04/05. Jodi Quinlan on Phoenix Prince holds the cup record in 2022, running a 1:56.7 in the 2600m cup.
