Garrards
Garrards are a market leader and innovator in supplying products, equipment, training and technical support to the Pest control Industry and the equine and canine markets throughout Australia and New Zealand. Garrards Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated company since 1985 with head office located at Brendale on the North Side of Brisbane with 17 branches located across Australia and New Zealand.
SPPHAV
Provides the means for owners to present their pure and partbred Standardbred horses in breed classes. Assists owners to raise the level of their skills. Encourages owners to compete alongside all other breeds at the many competitions held annually.
By becoming a member of the SPPHAV you help give this gentle, faithful horse the united front it needs for recognition in all equestrian activities, not just harness racing.
Whether your horse is a champion harness racer, a breeding stallion, a brood mare or a ridden gelding, when you register your pure or partbred Standardbred with the SPPHAV you can participate in a variety of equestrian events.
Erin’s Equine Services
Erin runs a horse rehabilitation centre in Stanhope (approx 30 mins south from Echuca) with an equine water treadmill, red light therapy and full size arena. She can tailor a program specific to each individual horse to suit their needs and assist their progress.
Victorian Equine Group
The Victorian Equine Group is a specialist equine veterinary group servicing the needs of clients around Victoria. The Victorian Equine Group purchased the Bendigo Equine Hospital in 2012. The Bendigo Equine Hospital is a specialist surgical and medical facility located opposite the Bendigo Racecourse in Central Victoria. The Victorian Equine Group also operates the Victorian Equine Reproduction Centre south of Shepparton, VERC is specialist reproduction centre set up to facilitate assisted equine reproduction of all kinds.
Ambulatory services run out of both facilities servicing clients over a large area of Victoria.
DNR Logistics
DNR Logistics started business back in January 2003 with a single owner driver and one client. The business grew quickly via word of mouth and referrals, such that in the first year of business DNR more than doubled its forecasted turnover and in the second year more than tripled it. DNR Logistics has won two national awards in 2004 and 2008 and now involves a fleet of more than 120 vehicles servicing the Melbourne metropolitan area.
DNR now offers a wide range of services to customers including Melbourne local couriers and taxi trucks, time slots and fleet management, GPS tracking and sign on glass, online PODs, and the latest in route optimisation technology. We also run interstate and regional services to and from all parts of Australia.

Lauriston Bloodstock
Lauriston Bloodstock is owned and operated by Anne and Bill Anderson. Their Premium Standardbred Broodmare Band has been accumulated from bloodlines imported from NZ and the USA over many years. This boutique breeding enterprise operates for the express purpose of breeding/rearing/racing and selling yearlings on a semi - commercial basis. All stock are bred and owned by Anne and Bill ; with the emphasis on quality not quantity.
Lauriston Bloodstock is consistently amongst the leading vendors at the Melbourne APG Yearling Sales. The Melbourne APG Sale in February 2018 saw a record result for Lauriston. The regally bred Art Major Filly from Smyrna Duruisseau sold for $160,00 ; a record price for a filly at an APG Sale. She also topped the sale ; her price of $160,000 was $60,000 greater than any other yearling offered on the day.
Lauriston also has an enviable record as breeders of the winners of the APG $300,000 race final having bred 3 winners and three second placegetters.
Cedar Lodge
Cedar Lodge started in 2001 by myself & husband Steve as a home based business – providing the local community with rug repairs, wormers and a small range of rugs and accessories. Both of us already had separate jobs – Steve working in the entertainment industry and myself working in the family screenprinting business as a sewer & causal printer. I started sewing rugs for a friend in her growing business and in 2004 decided to take the plunge and start my own line of rugs and accessories (under the Champion Rugs brand).
A lot has happened over the years, we have done numerous trade shows, sponsored countless events and have employed several people along the way, as well as running a shop front saddlery in Emerald for 4 years. Running a shop front was enjoyable but very hard on my young family at the time and we made the decision to bring it all back home and run it once again out of my small sheds! I love what I do, helping customers, making friends along the way and enjoying life! We are a small business with big ideas.
We now successfully operate out of our purposely built premises and manufacture a wide range of products that are shipped Australia wide as well as overseas. We may run a small business but we have big ideas and look forward to many areas of growth. Thank you to all our supporting customers past and present and we look forward to many more years in the industry supplying high quality Australian made products.
APG
Established in 1989, Australian Pacing Gold is Australia's leading standardbred yearling sales company, with a proven record of producing champion after champion, year after year. Financially secure, Australian Pacing Gold is a not-for-profit company limited by Guarantee, and is owned in equal portions by Harness Racing Victoria, the New South Wales Harness Racing Club and the Albion Park Harness Racing Club, with each body having two representatives on APG’s Board of Directors.
Equissage
Equissage Therapy is the equine division of Australian Therapeutic Solutions Pty Ltd who also have a human division, Niagara Therapy who provide Class IIa Medical Devices that assist people with a range of health conditions. Niagara Therapy have a diverse range of clients from the elderly, dealing with musculoskeletal pain, poor circulation and mobility issues. To Australian sporting teams, who use the therapy to keep themselves in peak condition, while assisting with injury rehabilitation and recovery.
