A big build up has reached fever pitch for Just Believe's outstanding group of owners, who will savour their trotting star's moment of truth at 11.28pm tonight.
Some 14 members of the syndicate have ventured to Stockholm for Elitloppet, with manager Malcolm Wells among those taking in the excitement of the harness racing festival.
"It is incredibly exciting," Wells told TrotsVision's Ryan Phelan. "I went for a walk down there (in the crowd) earlier and just ended up with goosebumps. I can well imagine (Elitloppet) is just going to be electric."
The tour has been something of a leap of faith for the owners and Larajay Farm's Jess Tubbs (trainer) and Greg Sugars (driver), but Wellls said their willingness to dare to dream has been rewarded regardless of tonight's result.
"I did jokingly say after we won the Bill Collins Sprint to everyone in the owners' room 'I will see you in Sweden', but it was just a joke," he said. "Certainly when the invitation came it was unexpected but an incredible thrill.
"And we consider that to be our win to be honest with you. I'm always a big believer that whatever the horse does, as long as he does his best and comes hope safely that's the most important thing."
