Leading driver Nathan Jack was very impressed by this filly before her first start. She disappointed a little in her prelude, but I’m happy to give her another go tonight and hope for some improvement.

Broke the clock from back and wide here seven days ago when a narrow second, and while he will need some speed up front with another bad draw over the sprint trip, he’s the class and can get this done.

VAL THORENS

Group 1 winner from last season who charged through the line from three back the pegs in the prelude of this series. Draws well and worth a play at around $5.

Bit of a long-winded multi here, but confident Miss Australiana, Lux Aeterna and Bay Of Biscay will all prevail, while Fate Awaits and Val Thorens should at least fill a minor placing in their respective races.
