The team at HRV are committed to developing a vibrant and sustainable harness racing industry which promotes participation, integrity and racing excellence. We run around 430 race meetings per year at 25 tracks throughout Victoria.  

Victorian harness racing is an important contributor to the Victorian economy generating $422m yearly and employing just under 4000 (full time equivalent) people across the state.

HRV provides career pathways within our Finance, Commercial, Integrity, Operations and Management functions.

HRV’S Recruitment Process

Applicants who apply for a position at HRV will receive a response via email confirming that we have received their application.  Applicants are then shortlisted based on their ability to demonstrate the requirements necessary for the role, telephone screening may be used to assist further with shortlisting for interviews.

Applicants who are shortlisted for Interviews will be contacted and invited to attend an Interview. Pre-employment testing including aptitude testing & psychometric profiling may be used to aid the recruitment process. Applicants will be subject to pre-employment screening & background checks in accordance with HRV Policy.

Candidates that are not shortlisted, will be advised by email after the successful candidate has accepted the offer of employment.
