Bray Raceway will play host to the DecoGlaze Ballarat Pacing Cup on Saturday January 20 as some of the greatest Harness Racing action travels Victoria.
The Ballarat Pacing Cup is one of the most fiercely contested cups in the Country Cup calendar as it rounds off what was an exciting start to 2024 Country Cups, and will serve as a great lead in to the massive Group 1 Double Header night of the AG Hunter Cup and Great Southern Star. Also featuring the Group 2 Aldebaran Park The Knight Pistol, enjoy all the harness racing action and more with trackside entertainment, live music, food trucks and plenty of kids activities.
The Ballarat Cup is one of the most prestigious Country Cups in the carnival, with the likes of champion pacers Popular Alm (1983) and Gammalite (1985) paving the way for future champions in this hotly contested cup. Smolda made history in 2016 and 2017, becoming the first horse to go back-to-back in the Ballarat Cup, and setting the two fastest cup times in the process.
The 2024 DecoGlaze Ballarat Pacing Cup promises to deliver once again this year, so don’t miss out and Roll On Up when some of the greatest Harness Racing action comes to Ballarat on Saturday January 20.
