OVERVIEW: VINCENT GRANGE (3) gets a favourable draw to race handy and wasn’t far away against some good types last start and races well here. Definite chance.  FUEGO CRUZADO (4) has been bursting to win another race after some recent placings. Locally trained runner that can fight out the finish. OPTIMAL (8) going well and gets a nice trailing draw and should be running home strongly. One of the main chances. ALTATUDE (5) last start winner that must be respected again whilst CORAL CAYS (2) and BETTER BLUE BOYS (7) are place and first four hopes.

OVERVIEW: JAMES GARNER (7) has been teasing for a while and racing against stronger opposition. Must be given another chance here. JUST MIKI (4) has been close to another win and from a favourable draw looks suited here. Can fight out the finish.  JILLIBY TIDALWAVE (3) 5yo mare in good form that has won her past two starts and expect another strong showing. DIRECT COMMAND (1) tough effort last start and will appreciate the ideal pole position draw. Definite chance. TUPELO BEACH (8) resumes here and has shown ability in the past. Gets a nice trailing and must be kept safe. RESURGENT WARRIOR (5) started favourite when first up for the Ashwood stable and could be a big improver here. Stable mates STYLISH GEM (2) and A ROCKNROLL JET (6) have ability though haven’t won for a long time. Have claims.

OVERVIEW: NOTHING SWEETER (5) has been racing against stronger company and looks well placed here from the front line and should prove hard to hold out. FAIR CHANCE (4) honest mare that is never far away in this class and can figure in the finish whilst NEVS DREAM (6) has been finishing just behind the placegetters and has claims. DANCIN WITH ELVIS (9) last start winner and gets a nice trailing and has claims again. Both MICTON MOUSE (8) and BELLA ABBY (2) are amongst the place and first four hopes.

OVERVIEW: INTO THE HARKNESS (4) speedy mare resuming and has shown good ability in the past and expect a forward showing fresh.  MARKLEIGH CAZ (1) locally trained runner that performs well at this track and from the pole position draw can threaten again. Both HUNGRY HOGARTH (7) and IAMAWINGATE (8) have their share of ability and must be respected again. REDBANK MOLLY (3) started close to favourite last start and did her share of work second up when unplaced. Fitter and can improve. PRESIDENTIALCHANGE (5) last start winner that came back into form and providing he repeats that performance he’s amongst the chances again. WOW YOU CAN DANCE (10) and TOODLE PIP (9) have place and first four claims.

OVERVIEW: THE KNOCKABOUT (9) has shown ability but is still learning his craft and strikes a winnable race. Finished off well last start and can keep improving.  Must be rated a winning chance if he can trot throughout. TAKEN BY WINE (1) placed at her past three starts and draws well to settle handy and is amongst the chances here. RASENGAN (8) quirky trotter that has teased on multiple occasions. Take on trust but he's amongst the winning chances. Both ARIVADERCHI (4) and BAGSHOT OLLIE (5) are lightly raced and have scope for improvement.

OVERVIEW: SONORA SUNSET (1) has been placed at all five starts to date and if she can make the most of the pole position, she’s a definite chance. THEROUX (9) is race fit and has been racing against stronger opposition. One of the main chances. HARBOUR SPRINGS (3) lightly raced filly that will strip fitter and has scope for improvement. Has claims. RALTED (2) resumes here and showed glimpses of ability last time in work. Might run well fresh. SHE IS LOVELY (6) runner up last start and is amongst the place hopes whilst ONLY SON (8) has first four claims.

OVERVIEW: NIGHT WHISPERER (8) will find this easier than recent racing and looks well placed. Each way.  ALFIE ALWAYS (9) can be hit or miss but has acquitted himself well in this class in the past. One of the chances but take on trust. CHARLIE WALKER (3) not far away last start and races well under these conditions and at this track. Must be respected. SURPRISE TO ME (5) could be an improver here and must be kept safe. BROWN EYED KATE (4) can begin well and might be in it for a long way.  DAISY BOUCHEA (10) is very honest and has claims. ROMANTIC NINA (11) races well at the track though unlaced at all four stand attempts. A TRUE STORY (12) former Kiwi that hasn’t started since November 2023 but comes off a massive handicap. Watch with interest.

OVERVIEW: KATUNGA EXPRESS (8) good effort last start and might enjoy a soft trip here and if the breaks come his way he can fight out the finish. Both TIC TACT (1) and SHEZA DAYDREAMA (2) have favourable draws to settle handy and could be in this for a long way. RANGER RICK (13) is flying but faces a horror draw whilst CEE CEE IN AMERICA (9) GERRALE (10) SPORTSBOU (11) RUBY WINGATE (12) and ALFNALMA (3) have big finishes but need suitable trips and can’t be dismissed. DANCE AWAY (5) YAPPER (6) and THE SPORTZ STAR (7) all have ability and just need some racing luck and must be respected.
