OVERVIEW: WHISKEYDRINKINGBILL (13) broke stride at the start and settled down last when a handy third behind Kyoretsu at Kilmore last outing. He has only missed a first four position once at his ten starts to date and he should be competitive again. ROLLWITHARTY (12) was held up for a run at a vital stage and dashed through late when an unlucky second at Kilmore then endured a wide trip at his latest third. He is racing well and is nearing a win. PISTOL PEARCE (3) gained a nice trip when second behind Kyoretsu when on debut. He should have improved by the experience and is a definite winning chance. ULTIMATE SAFARI (8) performed well at the trials prior to a first up fifth and rates as a value hope.

OVERVIEW: RINGER WELLS (4) finished off best to defeat Romantic Nina at Bendigo then followed with a third behind the handy performer Tracy The Jet. This race is no harder and he is one of the leading chances again. JILLIBY DREAMLOVER (9) has been placed at her past four attempts and looms as the logical danger. She led out then took cover when she finished off strongly to win at Melton last outing and should be finding the line strongly again. PROMISE DREAM (10) raced without cover early, pushed forward to find the lead and proved to be too strong at Cranbourne last outing. She has won four of her past seven starts and is worth thought again. BLACKRANGE GLORY (11) broke at the start and lost his chance at Ararat last outing. He was racing in outstanding form prior and is worth another chance.

OVERVIEW: It is a very strong race that features the Super Series winner KEAYANG KURKI (5), the Redwood Classic winner VYTIS (7) and the Breeders Crown champion ENCHAUFFOUR (8). VYTIS (7) only missed a place once during his juvenile term and he has performed reasonably well at the trials over the past two weeks so he gets the nod. KEAYANG KURKI (5) is resuming since November and has been unplaced in two recent trial performances but she does boast the best draw out of the major chances. ENCHAUFFOUR (8) finished fourth at his first run for the season, where he worked hard to lead and peaked late. He performed very well at the trials prior and is worth another chance. I’M EDDIE (3), PLEASE LAYLA (4), VOLSTEADSDELIGHT (6) and SASSY GALLEON (10) are all worth thought in multiple combinations.

OVERVIEW: MECARNO (5) was resuming since a ninth in the Super Series Final in September when he attempted to lead throughout and was beaten narrowly behind Tracy The Jet at Maryborough. He was performing extremely well at the trials prior so he is capable of going one better now. AMARTEY (2) was resuming since December when he finished off well from midfield at his latest third. He is better drawn for this assignment and should be fitter from that run so he must be included amongst the leading chances. ONE MORE MOVE (6) began quickly and ended up trailing the leader when third behind Please Layla at Cranbourne. He has been placed in three of his four starts to date and is one of the leading chances again. PRINCESS DU FER (9) hit the front on the home turn and was run down late when a close second at Kilmore. This race is no harder and she is worth thought again.

OVERVIEW: SPORTY PHILTRA (9) finished off best to win at Shepparton three starts ago and she finished off strongly for third at Cranbourne last outing so she warrants respect. SWISS LIGHTNING (10) was a winner at Ararat three starts ago and finished off well via the sprint lane at his latest third behind Torque Power. This race is of similar standard so he should be finishing off strongly again. JAY BEE (3) ran along at a genuine tempo in the lead and battled on well for third in a mile rate of 1.56.1 at Melton last week. She performs best when she can lead over the sprint distance so she has the conditions to suit her here. YANKEE GAMBLER (8) had little luck last outing and is capable of improving on his numerical form.

OVERVIEW: TECHY CREED (3) remains undefeated in two starts since resuming and he overcame a tough run to win in a mile of 1.55.4 at Cranbourne last outing so he should prove hard to beat again. GOLDEN SHOOZ (2) competed outside of her class range when a close third when resuming then finished well for second to Tara Victory at her next attempt so she is racing well enough to figure in the finish. FERRIGNO (1) worked hard early then gained a trail and finished off best to win at Bendigo then followed with a third at Cranbourne. He is perfectly drawn over the sprint trip and should go well again. BROWNIESATMIDNIGHT (7) was a big winner first up and is worth thought along with DANCE AWAY (9) and WOTDIDUSAAAY (10).

OVERVIEW: SCHERGER THAT (7) is a quality 3yo pacer, which is building up a consistent record. He was aggressively driven to find the lead mid-race and proved too strong at Cranbourne last outing and he appears to well placed in this event with the advantage of a concession claim. THE VILLAIN (6) is resuming since a victory at Kilmore in November but he is a speedy type and should be competitive if he is somewhere near his peak. MAJOR DRAMA (5) had little luck when sixth behind Keayang Taco at Hamilton last outing and was placed at her three starts prior so she is worth another chance. AMERICAN ALLI (2) will take catching if he is able to find the lead and HEAVENLY BRIGADE (3) is capable of sprinting to the line quickly with the right trail forward.

OVERVIEW: BEST EVER BLING (8) is resuming since an eighth in the Breeders Crown Final in November. He was runner up behind his stable mate Captain Perfect at a recent Melton trial performance and he is sure to be strongly fancied. GALAXY LASS (6) was competitive against the best of her age group last season and is capable of improving on her two starts since February. ROCKAWAY BEACH (7) was able to lead throughout at Kilmore two starts ago then followed with a fourth at Shepparton in a handy mile rate of 1.56.6. He is widely drawn but is capable of filling a place. SENNA STORM (4) attempted to lead throughout when a close second behind Torque Power at Stawell last outing and is drawn to be prominent throughout.

OVERVIEW: GATESYS GEM (6) is an outstanding filly that has been performing extremely well at the trials. She won the Tatlow Stakes and was runner up in the Redwood Classic and the Breeders Crown during her juvenile term so she will prove extremely hard to beat. JILLIBY BALLERINI (4) was runner up in the Victoria Oaks and the Breeders Crown last season and was third in the Need For Speed Princess so she is a quality mare. She will be fitter after a recent Terang trial fourth and should make her presence felt. MCGEE (1) is working back to his best form and possesses early speed so he should go well from the pole position over the sprint distance. MITCHELL WRAP (7) has been performing well at Metropolitan level and should be finding the line strongly.
