Tim O'Connor has done the form for tonight's meeting at Bendigo.
R1 – 6.34pm – Bendigo Locksmiths Free For All – 1650m
4 – Rakero Slammer
10 – Tango Tara
3 – Ozzie Punta
8 – Sew What
R2 – 7.12pm – Bendigo Ski Boat Centre NMW Pace – 1650m
8 – Bolramski
11 – Harryhoo
9 – Kathys Free
6 – Emily Vincent
Bolramski has a difficult draw but probably brings the best form into this. A 4.5m defeat to Blake Bolac reads well, as does a death seat second to Tallulah Lee (won again at Cranbourne) in good time at Ballarat.
BACK: 8 Bolramski – 1 unit (win)
R3 – 7.47pm – Prydes Easifeed Pace – 2150m
3 – Telemachus
5 – Raging Whitebait
9 – Diamond Eclipse
8 – Shadow Celt
Raging Whitebait looks very handy and deserves to be a short favourite, but I think Telemachus can run a race at odds. He finished well at Cranbourne and was held up and charged home on NYE behind Corravally Star. In good form.
BACK: 3 Telemachus – 0.5 unit (each-way)
R4 – 8.19pm – Worlds Best Hoof Oil Pace – 1650m
9 – Cheerstolou
1 – Atomic Glory
5 – Anakin
2 – Guaranteed Secret
Cheerstolou drops back in grade here a bit I fancy after chasing home some nice horses recently, including Sweetnikkilou and Kendys Butterfly. That reads well for a race like this.
BACK: 9 Cheerstolou – 1 unit (win)
R5 – 8.57pm – Aldebaran Park Maori Mile – 1609m
6 – Arcee Phoenix
5 – Queen Elida
10 – Keayang Chucky
8 – Lovemeto
R6 – 9.22pm – Garrards Horse & Hound Bendigo Pacing Cup – 2650m
5 – Tact Mcleod
9 – Triple Eight
11 – Cantfindabettorman
7 – Serg Blanco
Tact Mcleod was well fancied for the Inter Dominion before a foot issue saw him scratched and then he won well in a junior driver race on finals night. He brings good NZ form to Australia and maps to find the front here with most of his key dangers on the back row. Hard to beat.
BACK: 5 Tact Mcleod – 2 units (win)
R7 – 9.50pm – J & A Mazzetti Painting Mares Pace – 1650m
9 – Younggiftedandblack
8 – Heavenly Gipsy
6 – Vee Em Gee Macray
5 – Just As Well
Been a huge fan of Younggiftedandblack for some time and she looks ready to go first-up after a couple of nice trials. Has the class factor and can do it tough or come with one run.
BACK: 9 Younggiftedandblack – 2 units (win)
R8 – 10.19pm – Sheahan Plumbing Trot – 1650m
4 – Destrier
6 – Thunda Struck
7 – Picket Wire
9 – Aldebaran Boyd
Destrier was stuck four pegs last time out and flew late to run fourth. He was in front not long after the post. Was badly held up from a similar position the start prior and charged home to be beaten 5.3m to Perfidious Sue. He’s in great form and looks a good each-way play.
BACK: 4 Destrier – 1.5 units (each-way)
R9 – 10.47pm – Haras Des Trotteurs Trot – 1650m
1 – Aldebaran Acrux
4 – Illawong Larajay
5 – Sundons Courage
6 – Aardiebythehill
QUADDIE
5, 6, 8, 10
5, 9, 11
5, 6, 8, 9
4, 6, 7, 9

** A betting unit is typically a percentage of the total bankroll or the amount of money you are willing to risk on a particular bet – for example 1 unit is 10% of your bankroll, therefore with a $100 bankroll 1 unit equals $10.
