Trainer Sandra O’Connor’s talented pacer Powersofpersuasion prevailed at Mildura last Friday to give one TAB punter a collect of over $18,000.
Driver Wayne Hill sat parked with the four-year-old pacer in the final event on the card and he drew clear in the concluding stages to win softly by more than 6m on the line.
The punter had placed $7156 on the son of Hes Watching at $2.60 and pocketed $18,605.60 from the bet.
