He might have been well beaten into third, but Playnice’s minor placing was music to the ears of one TAB customer at Shepparton last week.
The punter placed $5000 on the Terry French-trained runner at $3.70 and collected $18,500 when the six-year-old gelding gripped on for third ahead of the fast-finishing Bronski Moment, who closed off hard for fourth.
The collect was one of the good results for TAB punters on Victorian harness racing last week, with some of the other big hits and misses listed below.
