Ebonys Avenger’s long-awaited return to the winner’s stall was timely for at least one TAB customer last week.
The punter launched a $2500 bet on the Chris Angove-trained squaregaiter at $3.90 before her victory in the Allied Express Trot at Melton on Wednesday.
It was the mare’s first success since February this year and saw the punter land a $9750 collect.
