The much-loved squaregaiter sadly died last Friday after deteriorating badly from what trainer David Aiken described as a “neurological virus”.
Aiken said it was a tough time for everyone involved with the mare, who enjoyed a fruitful career on the track and was destined for the breeding barn.
“We’ve had her since a yearling and she had a few little issues early days, but came out the other end just a really good mare and had a good record,” Aiken said.
“She was one of our favourites. She was a sweetheart of a horse, she never had a mean bone in her body.
“There was a syndicate of people that had a lot of fun and she gave us a lot of joy.”

“She was just a great syndicate horse and a nice horse with it,” Aiken said.
“She was well bred, good gaited, ticked a lot of boxes and we were really looking forward to breeding with her.”
Aldebaran Crescent’s other career highlights included Group 3 wins in the La Coocaracha at Menangle and in the Group 3 True Roman at Maryborough.
