Burning Questions: In-form Andy back to join Candyman, Skeet and TOC

Andy Gath has been tipping up a storm in recent editions of the Burning Questions so we just had to have him back for this week’s show.

The Long Forest-based trainer was joined by top reinsman Greg Sugars and regular panellists Nikkita Ross and Tim O’Connor from Harness Racing Victoria.

The quartet tackled some of the key issues arising from this Saturday night’s Tabcorp Park Melton meeting, including:

– How good is Leer and will she make it two in-a-row on Victorian soil from the wider draw?

– Fresh or fit in the Mares Sprint Championship Final?

– Can we declare Triple Eight back to his best after that super win and can he do it again?

– When manners mean most, who can we trust from the stand in the Lightfoot Laurels for the trotting mares?

While the ink is far from dry on the $500,000 Summer Of Glory bonus cheque, superstar mare Keayang Zahara is on track to provide her connections with a windfall after her effortless win in the Group 1 $100,000 Aldebaran Park Maori Mile.
