Kate Gath admits to not having too many favourites.
“It’s hard to be one of my favourites,” the champion reinswoman said after Tornado Valley’s scintillating 1:56.1 win tonight at Ballarat in Round 2 of the TAB Inter Dominion Trotting Championship.
Tornado Valley showed gate speed at the start to muscle his way to the top and hot speed late as he ripped home in 27 seconds for the last 400m.
“This fella is up there now,” she said, naming gun pacers About To Rock and Caribbean Blaster as her two favourites so far.
“Only time will tell though if he can catch the other two.”
TAB shortened Tornado Valley into $2 from $2.1 following tonight’s win.
