Listen In: Tooth Be Told podcast launched

eSports, taking a lead from basketball and wrestling and outside-the-box-thinking were a feature of episode one of Tooth Be Told, Paul Campell’s new podcast featuring Alabar director Alan Galloway.

Released today, the program’s first episode is the latest addition to the Trots Media podcast channel, which also hosts Jason Bonnington and Blake Redden’s Grand Circuit, Tanya McDermott’s HRV HERO program and in-depth looks at December’s TAB Inter Dominion championships.

Travelling horse dentist Paul Campbell enjoyed a wide-ranging chat with the head of the Victorian standardbred breeding farm, delving into ideas to ensure the industry flourishes.

“You’ve got to actually expose people to the industry,” Galloway tells Tooth Be Told. “I’m all in favour of these dual sulkies and getting people hands on, it’s a real adrenalin rush. You get all those hooves pounding all around you and you are moving pretty quickly. It’s exciting.

“When you think about our sport, you could have the drivers fully emersed in a race. The drivers could have 360 cameras on them, so if you invested money on a horse and on that particular driver you get to wear the eletronic gear and watch how your money is being spent.

“That’s what I sit here and think about – how can we improve the industry.”
