Tango Tara’s big win provides TAB punter with nice collect

One big TAB punter was cheering when Tango Tara made a long-awaited return to the winner’s circle at Bendigo on Wednesday night.

The customer placed $5928 on the Andy Gath-trained runner at $1.95 and was celebrating as he cruised in to win the Southern Cross Office Equipment (Scoe) Pace.

It was Tango Tara’s first success since July and netted the punter a collect of more than $11,500.

It was one of the major plays on Victorian harness racing with the TAB last week. Some of the other big hits and misses are listed below.
