From 1 February to 15 March, female drivers wear teal pants during the campaign to symbolise solidarity and advocacy. Harness Racing Victoria will again donate $200 to the cause every time a female driver wins a Victorian race, contributing directly to life-saving research and programs.

About Team Teal

Team Teal is a national fundraising campaign led by WomenCan to raise awareness and support for gynecological cancer research.

The Team Teal campaign was created by Duncan McPherson OAM who lost his wife Lyn to ovarian cancer in 2010. In failing health, Lyn began fundraising for ovarian cancer research, an initiative that Duncan connected with his passion for harness racing, co-founding Team Teal with fellow owners and trainers, Michael Taranto and Jim Connolly.

Night at the Trots

Join us for a fundraising gala night of excitement and connection, at Night at the Trots.

This annual event is a highlight of the harness racing calendar, featuring the prestigious Lyn McPherson Memorial Breed for Speed Series Finals.

More than just a thrilling night of racing, Night at the Trots raises vital funds for gynecological cancer research, education, and prevention programs.

Your contribution also fuels ANZGOG’s Survivors Teaching Students program, where survivors share their lived experiences with future medical professionals, fostering more compassionate and informed care. In addition, funds raised help women in regional and remote communities access life‑saving clinical trials, ensuring every woman receives the best possible care, regardless of where she lives.
