From The Racing Office: Pacing standing starts, 2027 early 2YO races

Harness Racing Victoria has programmed three standing start pacing races in the lead-up to the $50,000 Shepparton Gold Cup on 16 January.

It was announced last month the Shepparton Pacing Cup would return to a pacing standing start, the first in Victoria since 2016, as part of the Summer of Glory. READ MORE.

The Horsham Pacing Cup on 22 November will be a standing start, followed by pacing standing starts at Melton on 19 December and in the Echuca Pacing Cup on New Year’s Day.

Participants are reminded that standing start trials for pacers are regularly programmed at Melton, with HRV committed to providing sufficient standing start trial opportunities throughout regional Victoria.

March 3: Bendigo (pacers)

March 10: Bendigo (pacers)
