Race 1 - DECOGLAZE GLASS SPLASHBACKS TROT FINAL

OVERVIEW: This is a super T1 to T2 trotting final to kick off festivities on night two of the 2018 TAB Inter Dominion series where there are four serious winning chances and three of them are handled by local star Anton Golino. If you can put aside the disappointment of watching her get beaten at short odds first up then MAJESTIC PLAYER (10) remains the best of those chances. She did appear to have every chance after working around to assume control in the stronger of two heats for this series but she is also certain to derive improvement from that effort and based on her stunning 3YO form last term she has a class edge in this grade of race. Her most obvious threat here is her last start conqueror IMA BOURBON GIRL (7) particularly given the likelihood that she will find the front but the way their stablemate CONTINENETALLADY (13) went last time out with Kima in the cart she’s also in this right up to her ears. The only big-dog winning chance not to hail from Yabby Dam Farm is NEEDABACARDI (11) who has all the ability in the world but also a few unhinged screws. That being said he was massive in his heat of this series and may be on the cusp on turning the corner with his manners.
