When: Sunday 14 January

Where: Hamilton Harness Racing Club, Hamilton

Hamilton Harness Racing Track will play host to the Matthew's Petroleum Hamilton Pacing Cup and Alexandra House Hamilton Trotters Cup on Sunday January 14 as some of the greatest Harness Racing action travels Victoria.

Hamilton possesses a fantastic outdoor dining area where you can relax and enjoy watching some of the greatest Harness Racing action the Country Cup Carnival has to offer. With live music, plenty of giveaways and heaps of activities for the kids, be sure to make it a family affair down at Hamilton Harness Racing Track.

The Hamilton Pacing Cup goes back to 1949 where in that time, we’ve seen legendary trotter Maori’s Idol take out the cup against a field of pacers in 1977. Advance Attack also holds a part of history, becoming the first to go back-to-back in ‘07/’08. The Hamilton Trotters Cup looks to build on its short history, as the 2-minute barrier still looks to be broken. Margaret Ruth driven by Anne-Maree Conroy came the closest in 2020, running a 2:01.1.

The 2024 Matthews Petroleum Hamilton Pacing Cup and Alexander House Hamilton Trotters Cup promise to deliver once again this year, so don’t miss out and Roll On Up when some of the greatest Harness Racing action comes to Hamilton on Sunday January 14.
