Shepparton Racing Complex will play host to the Neatline Homes Shepparton Gold Cup on Saturday January 13 as some of the greatest Harness Racing action travels Victoria.
Shepparton continues what is an exciting start to 2024 and the Country Cup Carnival with a stacked Group 2 cup that is sure to deliver an action-packed race. It’s free admission for all and with plenty of activities for the kids including jumping castles, face painting and giveaways make it a family affair. There’s also bistro bookings, bars and bookmakers, it really is a fantastic night at the Trots.
The Shepparton Gold Cup has a rich history going back to 1959, where it has been won back-to-back on multiple occasion, Royal Gaze (‘74/’75), Game Oro (‘85/’86), Quite Famous (‘87’/’88) and more recently Sting Lika Bee (’06/’07).
