Laidlaw Park will host the Stawell Joinery Stawell Pacing Cup and Miners Ridge Wines Stawell Trotters Cup on Sunday December 3 as some of the greatest Harness Racing action travels around Victoria.
With free entry for all, kick off the TAB Summer of Glory at Stawell with fun for everyone! There's plenty for the kids to do as well as the chance to win $500 in the race day draw. Live music and entertainment throughout the day makes it a day you don't want to miss.
The Stawell Pacing Cup has a rich history dating back to 1961. Gavin Lang has had some recent success in Stawell, taking out 3 of the last 10 cups in 2013, 2015 and 2017. Motu Gatecrasher holds the Cup record, where in 2018, Geoff Webster drove a 1:58.1 to break Gavin Lang’s previous records from 2015 on Yankee Rockstar of 1:58.1.
