The Warragul Pacing Cup has proven to be one of the quickest, most exciting Country Cups in the racing calendar with the last 7 runs going under 2 minutes. The quickest of these was 2021 winner Perfect Stride NZ who ran the cup in 1:56.9. Greg Sugars will be looking to add to his stellar records in the Warragul Trotters Cup, as he has taken out 4 of the last 8 cups. Impressively, he went back-to-back on Gentlemans Honour in 2012 and 2013, the first to do it in the Warragul Trotters Cup.
