OVERVIEW: BRAVE ART (9) began quickly to lead and was taken on early with the first quarter being a sensational 26.5 seconds so her effort to finish third at Ballarat last outing was very brave. She appears to be well graded in this event and should prove very hard to beat. TUKURUA (3) is resuming since March but she was competing against much stronger opposition when she was last in work. She is nicely drawn first up and should run a good race. TORQUE INTHEUSA (7) was confidently supported and ran a cheeky race after working to the front when second at Hamilton last week. He is not as well drawn for this assignment but is worth thought again. PRETTY BASIC (8) was resuming since a Hamilton victory in April when fifth behind My Atlantis last week. He should be fitter from that performance and is worth following.
