A date with Shepparton awaits Harry ahead of a Melton return

Just Believe is set to make his return to Melton Entertainment Park for the first time since an ultra-successful New Zealand voyage.

The eight-year-old claimed two Group 1 features including the Rowe Cup and the Peter Breckon Memorial National Trot.

Trainer Jess Tubbs has looked back on the New Zealand adventure with great fondness.

“The New Zealand trip is one to remember and provided so many special moments for us.” Tubbs said. “We are so proud of what the boys were able to achieve over there, and the Kiwis did a terrific job of looking after us.”

The Greg Sugars-driven squaregaiter is set to line up in Saturday night’s Aldebaran Park Trotters Free For All before a Shepparton Trotters Cup appearance on Tuesday.

“So long as everything goes well and he’s feeling good after the run on the weekend he will head to Shepparton, but we will of course be guided by him,” she said.

The winner of over $1.5 million is set to chase a third Inter-Dominion title with a return trip to New Zealand later in the year also on the cards.

“The rest of the year looks busy for us with a fair bit of travelling to do – chasing features. It puts a lot of pressure on everyone at home but it’s a very good problem to have so we’re not complaining,” she said.
