Addison Duryea’s journey in harness racing began in Pony Trots, where she quickly fell in love with the sport.
Now, Addison trains horses alongside her mum Rachel while working towards getting her licence to drive in races.
For now, you’ll find Addie at the trials, putting the skills she learnt through the Pony Trots into practice. But with her passion for harness racing and plenty of determination, she’ll be one to watch when she eventually hits the race track.
Bronte Nieuwenburg caught up with Addison to hear about her journey so far, her love of the sport and what’s ahead as she works towards becoming a race driver.
