Girgarre East horseman Ken Covington opened about his little-known harness racing journey in a special appearance on SEN Track’s TrotsLife on Tuesday.
During an enthralling 15-minute chat with host Toby McKinnon, the 63-year-old spoke about how horses helped him “come out the other end” and win a battle with cancer as well as the whirlwind journey with squaregaiter Bacardi Wood, who accounts for 11 of his 12 wins as a trainer.
