A month of country metropolitan meetings kick off Saturday night at Shepparton and analysts Jason Bonnington and Nikkita Ross have done the form.
On what appears to be a competitive and open nice-race program, Bonnington identified his best bet early in race two, with Brutally Handsome the one to beat for AJ and Beau Tindale.
Ross’ best bet comes up later in the night with the Emma Stewart trained Soho Historia looking to make it four consecutive wins since joining the stable.
There has been market support since opening at $1.95 and Ross’s confidence is high that the three-year-old filly can tackle the older horses.
“I think she can find the front and over the mile there is no doubt she is going to be very hard to beat from there," she said. "Her past wins have been realty impressive and I think she handles this next step up in grade.”
