Gun four-year-olds open joint favourites for Vic Cup

Catch A Wave and Leap To Fame have opened joint favourites with the TAB for October’s Grand Circuit classic, the Victoria Cup.

The two star four-year-olds sit atop the market at $3.50, with last-start Group 1 Blacks A Fake winner Swayzee $5.

New Zealanders Akuta and Copy That are rated $9 chances alongside A. G. Hunter Cup champ Honolua Bay, while last year’s Victoria Cup winner Rock N Roll Doo is $21.

The Victoria Cup will be held at Melton on Saturday, October 14.
