High participation prompts kindergarten and graduation series extension

Harness Racing Victoria’s kindergarten and graduation series, which encourages early juvenile racing, will continue through May, following a warm reception since its March launch.

The graduation series, for horses who have won no more than $10,000 in their lifetime, will be offered for both pacers and trotters as will the kindergarten series for two-year-olds.

The first pacing graduation series concluded at Melton on Friday night when Mount Barker Boy made it two from two in the $14,000 final, which drew a deep field like the preceding heats at Maryborough and Bendigo.
