Harness Racing Victoria will trial programming trotting races at Mildura meetings to provide options for squaregaiters in the north of the state.
These races will be primarily for lower-grade trotters and will start being scheduled from August.
The last race run for squaregaiters at Mildura was the trotters’ cup in April 2024, which was won by the Brent Lilley-trained Kyvalley Heist.
