Jenkin joins RSN’s Gait Speed to reflect on triple treat

Amidst Kate Gath’s dominance and Chris Alford’s milestone moment, the achievements of Norm Jenkin got somewhat lost on Saturday night.

While Gath chalked up five winners in the sulky and Alford registered career success 7500, Jenkin chipped away with a successful treble as an owner.

The Queensland-based 78-year-old has full ownership of Zigzagzoo, Fynn Frost and Tango Tara, who all scored victory at Bray Raceway. Gath drove all three, which are trained by her husband Andy.

Jenkin joined Adam Hamilton and Gareth Hall on RSN’s Gait Speed to discuss the success and some of his other horses such as Tornado Valley, McLovin and the great Flashing Red, who won the New Zealand Trotting Cup on two occasions.
