Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) stewards in consultation with the Victorian Trainers and Drivers Association (VTDA) today conducted an inspection of Melton due to recent remedial work being undertaken on the track surface.
Upon inspection, the track surface was deemed suitable for the scheduled race meeting to proceed tomorrow (Saturday, January 28).
The Melton trials scheduled for Tuesday, January 31, have been transferred to Ballarat with Melton to host two TAB Summer of Glory feature meetings next week – Woodlands Great Southern Star on Friday night (February 3), and Del-Re National A.G. Hunter Cup night on Saturday night (February 4).
