Newly appointed Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) CEO Dayle Brown (pictured) will hit the ground running from next Wednesday, November 6.
Brown will immediately begin meeting with staff to “learn about HRV’s current strategic projects” before embarking on a series of consultation meetings across Victoria.
“It is important to get an understanding of the current strategic direction of the HRV executive management team and staff, so I want to hear about those projects and how they’re tracking,” Brown said.
“I will then hit the road to visit every centre in Victoria because it is important we give the industry an opportunity to have input into the overall strategic vision for HRV.
“It is important to listen to the industry and understand their views. I’m looking forward to meeting passionate industry people right across the state. It will be a busy period before Christmas with plenty to do, but my style is to be collaborative and I am a firm believer in everyone, both inside and outside of HRV, understanding the goals and working together to achieve them.”
Brown will address the new-look Victorian Harness Racing Hall of Fame night at Bendigo on Friday November 8, which will be streamed live across HRV Trots Media channels.
