An outstanding field will launch the TAB Summer of Glory in elite style, with Rock N Roll Doo, Cranbourne and Copy That among those to draw on the PETstock Ballarat Pacing Cup's front row.

The $150,000 feature has attracted a field worthy of its Group 1 status, with Inter Dominion winner I Cast No Shadow and Honolua Bay also on the front row, while Old Town Road, Mach Dan, Majestic Cruiser and Major Meister will be among those hoping for tempo from their second row draws.

Trainer Jason Grimson is looking to continue his outstanding summer with another three-pronged attack, while much of the intrigue will centre around Rock N Roll Doo, who will be steered by Anthony Butt owing to an injury to regular reinsman Michael Stanley.

Should the emergency, Interest Free, come out, Rock N Roll Doo will start from gate one as he did in the Bendigo Cup, when he was easily crossed.

Outside him is plenty of gate speed, including David Aiken's new addition Cranbourne, who shot to the front and won Saturday's Shepparton Cup.

The build-up will be huge and the race itself one to remember. Stay tuned to www.thetrots.com.au.
