The girls will take centre stage on what is sure to be an enthralling Saturday night of action at Ballarat’s Bray Raceway.

Our leading three-year-old squaregaiting fillies will chase Group 1 glory in the Catanach’s Jewellers Victoria Trotters Oaks shortly after the star pacing mares clash in the Group 3 TAB Make Mine Cullen, which doubles as the opening leg of the Elizabeth Clarke Triple Crown.

Completing the night of black type racing is the Group 2 IRT Australia Tatlow Stakes, where the juvenile trotters get another crucial hit-out ahead of October 31’s Redwood Classic.

And thanks to Catanach’s Jewellers, you can be part of the racing fun for free.

Viewers just need to select the horses they think will win the Tatlow, Make Mine Cullen and Oaks and email their picks and contact details to competitions@hrv.org.au by 7.20pm tonight. As a tie-breaker, please include the winning margin in the Oaks (eg. 2.2m or 5.7m).

The successful entrant must correctly identify the Oaks victor, plus also pick the most winners from the other two races. In the event of a tie, the nearest margin will be decisive. The winner will receive a prized $500 Catanach’s Jewellers voucher.

Nikkita Ross and Tim O’Connor will be trackside along with caller Dan Mielicki for a huge night of TrotsVision coverage, with extensive driver and trainer interviews planned as part of the wall-to-wall coverage.

So kick back, grab a drink and tune into TrotsVision from 5.30pm for a superb night of racing out of Ballarat.
