Punter’s balance goes north after East’s metro winner

One TAB customer was rejoicing when Rebecca East landed a rare Melton victory on Saturday night.

The punter placed $5000 on East’s four-year-old Operative Line at $3.30 before his all-the-way victory in the Welcome Renown Silverware Pace.

The result? A juicy $16,500 collect.
