The battle lines between the Vics and the Croweaters will be redrawn at Mildura tomorrow night for the State Of Origin Drivers' Series, a contest for individual and state glory.

Ten drivers will done their respective state colours for the four-race series that kicks off at 8.40pm in race four of the seven-race night, when Victorian reinsmen and women will wear state silks honouring football legends, namely Teddy Whitten (Chris Alford), Ron Barassi (Kerryn Manning), Leigh Matthews (Luke Watson), Gary Ablett (Darby McGuigan) and Greg Williams (Gavin Lang).

That fab five will be pitted against current and former South Australians drivers Wayne Hill (Neal Kerley), Kate Gath (Barry Robran), Greg Sugars (Malcolm Blight), Jayden Brewin (Russell Ebert) and Danielle Hill (Stephen Kernahan), who will given a pump up by coaches Graham Cornes and Greg Anderson while the Vics will be led by Terry Wallace and Dale Weightman.

The coaches will also have a double-seater sulky showdown and front the Friday Sportsman's Lunch and children's football clinic amid a huge list of fun activities.

They also include an all-ages handball competition, an Optus Movie Van showing children's movies and AFL-themed pony trots, while the main event - the drivers' series - will see the first Lang/Justice Medal awarded to the leading points scorer.

And adding to the novelty, race callers Craig Rail and Jim Jacques will call alternating races before sharing the final race, which they will swap in 400m bursts.
