One TAB customer was playing it very safe with the final favourite on Saturday night’s Nutrien Equine Classic card at Melton.

Bay Of Biscay started $1.07 on the fixed odds before his victory in the final for three-year-old colts and geldings, but one punter decided the $1.02 for the Emma Stewart-trained pacer to run a place was good enough.

The customer had $5000 on the horse to fill one of the top three placings and pocketed $100 profit for their wager.
