TAB punter launches at Larry, but not on the nose…

Leap To Fame was met with heavy support before his victory in the A G Hunter Cup, but one big TAB punter was playing it a little safer than others on Saturday night.

The customer placed a $10,000 wager on the Grant Dixon-trained pacer to run a place at $1.14, and picked up a cool $1,400 profit when the Queenslander cruised to victory in the Group 1 Grand Circuit classic.

It was one of the biggest bets placed in Victorian harness racing last week, with some of the others listed below.
