Tonight’s meeting at Melton Entertainment Park has been abandoned without a race being run.

Harness Racing Victoria’s Integrity Unit posted the following message on X (Twitter) at 6.50pm:

Melton 9/1/26
Tonight’s meeting will be abandoned due to deteriorating air quality within the Melton area. This is due to the smoke haze caused from fires within the state.

HRV wishes safety to all participants.
