Young horseman Tom Rundle has only trained nine career winners, but he might be able to add to that number shortly thanks to a son of Vincent named Im Lord Tommy.

The two-year-old was quickly placed into Craig Rail’s Blackbook following an eye-catching trial at Melton Entertainment Park on Tuesday.

“He finished off fast via the sprint lane and missed out by a narrow margin. It was a very good effort leading up to his debut at Ararat on Sunday night,” Rail wrote.

Other horses added to the Blackbook from this week’s Victorian trials circuit were Nathan Street and Protagonist.
