Vale Karen Nicholson

Family and friends will fondly remember Karen Nicholson this Friday when her funeral is held at Crawford’s, Bacchus Marsh from 2pm.

Nicholson sadly passed away after a long illness on Monday.

A long-time secretary and hard worker with the Bacchus Marsh Harness Racing Club, Nicholson lifted its profile by at one stage providing trophies for each of the events when a restricted meeting was held there.

Nicholson loved her harness racing and raced many handy horses over the years in partnership with husband Herb. They were trained by various locals including Phil Chircop and Jim O’Sullivan.

Harness Racing Victoria extends its sincere sympathy to Herb and the Nicholson family.
