Victorian Government floods financial support packages

The Victorian Government has announced financial support packages for primary producers (including horse breeding and training businesses) across Victoria affected by the devastating floods.

The Primary Producer Flood Relief Program offers a $10,000 payment to eligible primary producers affected by the floods to help them clean up, re-establish properties, and get businesses up and running again.

Primary producers whose properties have been directly hit may also be eligible to apply for concessional loans of up to $250,000 to restore or replace damaged assets, and meet expenses incurred during the clean-up.

Flood-affected primary producers may also be eligible to claim 50% of transport costs up to $15,000, for the transport of emergency fodder or stock drinking water and moving stock.
