VSTA celebrates a wonderful season of squaregaiting

The Victorian Square Trotters Association celebrated its standout performers of season 2023 at a special awards function at Bendigo Harness Racing Club on Sunday.

The winners were as follows:

Bob Conroy Excellence in Trotting – Chris Alford

Colin Redwood Passion, Perseverance and Determination in Trotting Award: Glen and Chris Sharp

Life membership – John Campbell and Ian White

2YO Male Trotter of the Year – Star Of Patrick

3YO Female Trotter of the Year – Shesawish

Aged Trotter of the Year – Queen Elida

2YO Female Trotter of the Year – Nordic Reign

Trotting Racemare of the Year – Queen Elida

Chris E Howe Country Trotter of the Year – Buslin Brody

Trotting Trainer of the Year – Brent Lilley

3YO Male Trotter of the Year – The Locomotive

Trotting Breeder of the Year – Yabby Dam Farms

Trotting Sire of the Year – Skyvalley

Trotting Driver of the Year – Chris Alford
