"I've still got plenty of go in me," Josie Justice told Channel 9 News last night as the trainer made a return to the trots at age 90.
Celebrated in a fantastic piece on the eve of Daisy Starzzz's debut run at Bendigo, Josie spoke with sports reporter Tony Jones ahead of the staging of the Hunter Rural 2YO Pace.
The debutant raced roughly and finished sixth for reinsman John Justice, Josie's son, with winner District Attorney storming home in a 27.8-second last quarter to win for owner-trainer Ted Caruana.
