Lance Justice has shared his love for ‘Trigger’ and his best mate Sokyola in part two of a special series ahead of Saturday night’s TAB Smoken Up Sprint at Melton.
In the TrotsVision special, Kima Frenning visited Justice at his Ballan stables and he spoke of the enormous impact Smoken Up had on his career, which aired yesterday in part one, as well as his stablemate and fellow Miracle Mile champ ‘Soky’.
Justice said there bond was always going to last a lifetime.
“I don’t think it was ever a question of where they were going to go (after retirement), I mean these guys, I live with these guys,” Justice said.
“They are part of my life, our family’s life, so they were always going to get a good home regardless.
“People go their whole lives trying to find one good horse and I’ve been lucky enough to find two standout horses.”
